common questions

mirrah is a nervous-system regulation app for the 90 seconds between something setting you off and doing something you'll regret. you tap where you feel it in your body, and mirrah gives you one exercise that fits how you're actually feeling.
no. mirrah is not therapy, and it does not diagnose, treat, or replace medical or mental health care. it's a self-help tool for the moment right after a trigger. if you're working with a therapist, mirrah is meant to sit alongside that — something to use between sessions, not instead of them. if you're dealing with a serious or ongoing mental health concern, please talk to a qualified professional.
open the app and go to profile → your data → delete everything. this permanently removes your sessions, patterns, and everything else stored on your phone — instantly, with no waiting period. you don't need to contact us first. see our privacy policy for the full details.
everything you enter — your sessions, journal entries, body check-ins — is stored only on your phone. there's no account and no cloud backup. that means if you delete the app, that data is gone for good, with no way for us (or you) to recover it. if you want to keep a copy, use profile → your data → export before you uninstall.
those questions during onboarding are self-identification, not a screening or diagnostic tool. we ask so mirrah can personalize pacing, wording, and structure to what tends to work for you — not to label or assess you. your answer is yours; you can skip it, and it's never sent anywhere as a raw answer (see our privacy policy).
yes. what you type and select stays on your device — we don't see it, sell it, or use it to advertise to you. read the full privacy policy for the details.
email luna@mirrah.app with what happened, what you expected instead, and your device model and iOS version if you have them. screenshots help a lot.
